The Asics Shoes New takes inspiration from rave culture and the resulting harmony between people of diverse backgrounds enjoying music together. The Tarther OG was originally released in 1983 and was often seen on the feet of ravers in the UK in the late ’80s. Now it makes its return with beaded leather laces, a wild pattern on the canvas upper, and co-branded detailing throughout.


This Asics Shoes Red model is a contemporary design inspired by popular running shoes of the 1980s. The silhouette is dressed in a suede and nylon upper that results in a comfortable and quality pair of sneakers. White underlays are contrasted by the Blue overlays noted on the heel, toe and eyestay. Hits of Silver and Red are noted on the Asics stripes placed on the side panels of the shoe. A White midsole and Black outsole complete the look.


Asics Shoes Womens Sale just released a throwback version of its Tarther 1980s racing flat, aptly called the Tarther OG. Available in white on black or black on white, the shoe has a clean monochromatic look, with a leather and nylon low-top upper on a white midsole and gum outsole.


Inspired by the Asics Tarther Japan Safari Khaki/Black concept of racing like a tiger” and “coined to evoke the words ‘Tiger’ and ‘Racer,’ the Tarther not only featured the first use of an EVA compression molded midsole in 1984, but also went on to feature Asics’ first use of a spring midsole and sculpted midfoot—a considerable departure from the flat-bottomed soles of the time.
